WA Mining Club Young Professionals (WAMC YP) membership is open to mining industry professionals who form part of our future workforce. We are looking to attract an inclusive membership base through initiatives and events that target a range of disciplines within the mining industry, including the FIFO workforce, mining service providers and trades.
The current membership fee for WAMC YP members is $90 including GST which covers the member until December 2025. This reflects a 40% discount on annual membership fees and waives the nomination fee. We look forward to learning more about your unique career pathway and aspirations as part of your application.
You need to be 32 years old or younger to be eligible for a Young Professionals Membership, as well as currently working in or having a strong connection to the resources industry.
Events hosted by the WAMC YP’s are called Miners Mingle and are hosted by Matt Michael from the Money of Mines podcast. We aim to discuss current industry topics and share insights from legends of the industry’s careers. Previous events have seen Bill Beament – Develop, Tom Weaver – Fortescue, Dave Rose – KPMG and Robbie Figg – Happiness Co share their stories.
