Timing is Everything!
Jonathan Fisher, CEO of ASX listed Cauldron Energy has enthusiastically responded to an invitation to be thrown into the Cauldron of the WA Mining Club spotlight for our July luncheon at Optus Stadium on Thursday 25th July.
Effervescent and outspoken and backed up by logic and science, Jonathan has been an active advocate for uranium mining and nuclear power restrictions to be lifted across Australia to bring us into step with the balance of the planet, where it is broadly recognized that nuclear energy must not only play a key role in helping to meet the growing global demand for energy, but do so in a reliable, emissions free, base load kinda way. And there is no nuclear energy without uranium mining!
The nuclear debate is gaining traction as one of the central platforms likely to determine the outcome of the next federal election, so once we get past the kindergarten level political mudslinging, it’s important that we educate ourselves in a balanced way on the pros and cons of this proposed policy direction. Given Jonathan is the CEO of a company that includes a large WA based uranium project among its portfolio, it is unsurprising that he is pro uranium mining and pro-nuclear, so you can expect to hear a considered view on the merits of uranium mining and nuclear power, complete with some good old fashioned myth busting and supported by some surprising data from various recent opinion polls.
We probably say this every month, but you really do not want to miss this one.
Whether you’re a regular WA mining club attendee, or a newbie and interested in some interesting insights into uranium mining or nukes, or just completing final training ahead of Diggers, be at Optus on Thursday July 25th to hear what Jono Fisher has to say.
