Tim Goyder is a Western Australian entrepreneur, 40 plus year prospector, business owner, mining executive and investor.
From his farming background, to prospecting and pegging his first tenements in his early 20s, running a drilling company in the Goldfields until 2007, Tim went on to form and manage several ASX listed companies, most notably Liontown Resources Limited and Chalice Mining Limited, both listed on the ASX200.
Tim has considerable experience in all facets of mineral exploration and development, having worked in Eritrea, Tanzania, North America and Australia. He also has a deep understanding of the Australian and global equities markets gained over many years through downturns and booms.
Tim is currently the Chair and major shareholder of Tier 1 emerging battery minerals producer, Liontown Resources Limited and exploration company DevEx Resources Limited, and a Non-Executive Director of Minerals 260 Limited and unlisted entX Limited.
In 2022, Tim was awarded the Diggers and Dealers GJ Stokes Memorial Award for his significant and lasting contribution to the Australian mining industry.
In his spare time Tim and his wife enjoy travelling and spending time at their beach house in the south-west of Western Australia.
