The WA Mining Club takes great pleasure in announcing our 2024 St Barbara’s Day luncheon speaker as Former Premier of Western Australia The Hon Mark McGowan AC.

Whilst he probably needs no introduction, Mark McGowan served as Premier of Western Australia from March 2017 to June 2023.  He also served as Treasurer and Minister for State Development.  He led WA through the Covid pandemic  securing the best health and economic outcomes of anywhere in the world.

Mr McGowan has transitioned seamlessly from the politcal arena into corporate life with numerous board and strategic advisory roles .

We are looking forward to some fascinating insights in a fireside chat with Tim McMillan.
