President of the WA Mining Club, Natalie Taylor’s, Tenure Comes to a Close

The WA Mining Club Committee extends our thanks to Natalie Taylor as her tenure as President of the WA Mining Club comes to a close in order for her to concentrate on her role as parent and as a vital cog in the wheels of Roy Hill.
During her time in the role, the Club created many new initiatives and elevated our brand to new heights. As well as being the fifth and youngest president, Nat was the first to become a mother whilst in the role – juggling work, parenthood and the presidency has been a huge achievement and one she is very proud of.

Some of the highlights include

• Adapting to global challenges by transitioning to hybrid networking events.
• Launching a mentorship program for budding mining professionals.
• Expanding the Scholarship portfolio, now Education Engagement, with twelve scholarships awarded last year.
• Organising Get into Mining Camps, with more planned for this year.
• Initiating an External Affairs portfolio, showcasing the club’s contributions and WA mining sector strengths.
• Collaborating with the Energy Club for insightful Breakfast Series and Cocktail Events.
• Welcoming an Administrator for streamlined club operations

Thank you for leading the club’s growth, Nat!
