He has consistently engaged with the club’s events and activities throughout Anthony’s WA Mining Club Membership. When asked about the benefits of the Mining Club, Anthony emphasised the invaluable networking opportunities provided at every event.
With an impressive 17-year tenure in the mining industry, Anthony’s journey is one of consistent professional growth. He began his career as a boilermaker at Liebherr Australia, where he spent 11 years advancing through various roles, including Workshop Leading Hand, Workshop Coordinator, and Field Service Coordinator.
Transitioning to Austin Engineering proved to be a pivotal move for Anthony, where he flourished under the mentorship of Alan Walker and Geoff Collins. Their guidance propelled Anthony into leadership positions such as R&M Coordinator, Project Manager, Workshop Manager, Product Support Manager, and Operations Manager over five years.
Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Worx Equipment, Anthony plays a crucial role in driving the company’s growth.
Reflecting on his journey, Anthony acknowledges Alan Walker and Geoff Collins as his most memorable bosses, attributing his professional development to their leadership.
