March saw Bill Beament, Managing Director of Develop and former Executive Chair of Northern Star Resources, present to a packed room at the first Young Professional’s event of the year. The event was highly successful with Bill providing his own story from humble beginnings at the WA School of Mines to becoming one of the most successful mining executives this generation, his insights on how to be successful and his thoughts on the future of the industry.
Mr Beament has earned a reputation as a highly talented mining entrepreneur and senior executive. He has extensive experience in executive and operational management built on a strong technical background across both gold and base metals operations, including copper, nickel, zinc and tin. Bill’s knowledge shared on success proved invaluable to the Young Professionals in the room looking to fulfill their own career ambitions.
