In 2012, membership reached a new high of over 800, a dramatic increase from 200 in the 1980s and 90s.
Over the decades, the WA Mining Club has built a reputation as one of the most effective networking organisations in Perth and regularly sees over 400 members at its monthly luncheons.
To celebrate the clubs 40th anniversary, the WA Mining Club organised 14 member events to commemorate this milestone.

Raising $120,000 for charities, including the Royal Flying Doctor Service
To commemorate the 40th Anniversary, a souvenir publication titled Celebrating 40 Years was delivered to WA Mining Club members and others in the mining industry. This special print featured a collection of short stories, quotes, anecdotes and articles reflecting on the WA Mining Club’s history.
