MGX Resources Limited (formerly Mount Gibson Iron) is an established West Australian miner that commenced iron ore production in 2004 and is now diversifying into precious and base metals, acquiring a 50% interest in the Central Tanami Gold Project in the Northern Territory.

 

Purpose

The WAMC is committed to supporting diversity and inclusion for technical roles within the mining industry. The purpose of this scholarship is to support a strong pipeline of female talent that will progress into the industry.

 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be female
  • Must be willing to study a technical discipline that is applicable to the mining industry
  • Must be willing to start study within 2026
  • Can already be engaged in study, however, must have more than 12 months of study remaining
