The WA Mining Club Young Professionals (WAMC YP) are thrilled to welcome you to our first sundowner of 2023: Bill Beament | Seizing Tomorrow’s Opportunities.
We are honoured to present Bill Beament as our keynote speaker, one of the most prominent leaders of our industry and presently the Managing Director of DEVELOP (ASX: DVP).
Bill is a mining engineer from the Western Australian School of Mines and has more than 25 years of operational and senior management experience in the resources sector. During this time, he has earned a reputation as a highly talented mining entrepreneur and senior executive. Not only does he have extensive experience in executive and operational management built on his strong technical background across both gold and base metals operations, but he has also famously led the growth of Northern Star Resources from a 1c shell to an ASX50 company with a market cap of over A$15 billion.
At the sundowner, some key themes that Bill will be sharing with our young professionals include critical minerals, the demand for underground skills and other issues in the industry.
