Design a Donga Unveiling Sundowner
WA Mining Club Young Professionals are proud to launch their Q4 networking event for 2019: The Design a Donga Sundowner!
Join WA’s biggest resource sector young professionals association for comradery, food and drinks at The Camfield at 5:30pm on 14 November 2019, as WAMC YP unveil the results of their flagship 2019 initiative: two state of the art mining accommodation units built by Grounded Construction Group and Modular WA in collaboration with some of WA’s leading mining goods and service suppliers.
The Design a Donga project was WAMC YP’s inaugural community initiative. Throughout the course of the year, WAMC YP collected feedback from members of the FIFO community regarding the current state of onsite mining accommodation. Based on this feedback, GCG developed a holistic design approach to FIFO accommodation to better reflect the values and ideals of onsite mining residents. The result is two unique life-size donga designs carefully assembled by industry experts to showcase a 21st-century approach to FIFO living.
The Design a Donga sundowner is the conclusion of an incredible year for the WAMC YP following three sold-out events. Join us on Thursday evening to meet some of WA’s most exciting emerging leaders in the resources sector.
We look forward to seeing you there!
