WA Mining Club luncheons are a valuable way to network with colleagues and clients and a great source of industry information.
We are pleased to announce that Michael Gollschewski, Vice President Operations and President, Alcoa Australia, will be our keynote speaker for this event.
As Alcoa approaches 60 years of operations in WA next year, Vice President Operations – Australia Michael Gollschewski will discuss the company’s historic origins, current position and future ambitions. Having invented the aluminium industry more than 135 years ago, Alcoa’s global vision is to reinvent it for a sustainable future. Aluminium is essential to modern life but Alcoa believes how it makes its products is just as important as what it makes. Operating one of the world’s largest integrated bauxite mining, alumina refining and aluminium smelting systems, Alcoa sees itself as part of the solution in the global shift towards renewables and the slowing down of climate change.
Michael Gollschewski, Vice President Operations Australia and President Alcoa Australia, is responsible for Alcoa’s Australian Assets comprising 2 bauxite mines, 3 alumina refineries and an aluminium smelter.
