Jordan Pedley, President of the WA Mining Club, was proud to attend the annual MADALAH Ball, an evening dedicated to celebrating education, opportunity, and community. Her attendance was made possible thanks to AMCAP, the WA Mining Club’s valued Gold Partner, whose support for both the Club and broader industry initiatives continues to make a real difference.
MADALAH is a not-for-profit organisation that provides scholarships for Indigenous students, supporting both secondary and tertiary education. Their programs focus on creating pathways for Aboriginal youth to achieve their academic goals, develop leadership skills, and strengthen cultural identity, opening doors to careers and opportunities that transform communities.
The Ball itself is a highlight on the Western Australian calendar, bringing together leaders from across industries to raise funds and awareness for these vital scholarships. For Jordan, it was an opportunity not only to connect with friends and colleagues from the mining sector, but also to reflect on the power of education and community in shaping the future of WA.
