With 18 years in the mining industry, David’s journey began as a project manager contracted to a tier one mining company. Despite a brief tenure due to the Global Financial Crisis, this experience ignited his passion for the industry and the people involved.

For David, the WA Mining Club serves as a vital platform for networking and education. The ability to meet people with common and like interests, learn from them and learn from the keynote speakers and panel members about their experiences, challenges and market trends.
I have had several instances where I have stepped in for a mining club lunch or event unsure of the relevance to me and then found that it to be one of the most educational sessions.”
If David could invite three guests to dinner, he would choose his Operations Managers: Dean Brown, Wayne Slater, and Aimee Myers. His commitment to teamwork is evident in this choice, reflecting his belief in collaboration as key to success.
