Western Australian-owned Get A Grip Tyres has agreed to acquire the stock and assets of the Black Rubber WA operations at Kewdale and Port Hedland, bringing the business back into local ownership. The agreement follows the ASX announcement by NTAW Holdings on 27 July and is subject to customary completion conditions.
For Black Rubber WA customers, the message is simple: business as usual. Customers will continue to be supported by an experienced local team from the same Kewdale and Port Hedland locations, while benefiting from the additional capability and resources of Get A Grip Tyres.
The acquisition combines Black Rubber WA’s experienced people, established customer relationships and strong operational footprint with Get A Grip Tyres’ existing network across Perth, Fremantle, Karratha, Newman and Port Hedland, creating one of Western Australia’s leading independent commercial tyre service providers.

Get A Grip Tyres has supported Western Australian mining, transport, construction and industrial fleets for more than 20 years, providing truck, bus, 4WD and off-the-road (OTR) tyre supply and servicing. The combined business will offer an expanded mobile fleet network, dedicated OTR grab truck capability across Perth and the Pilbara, iTMS-supported fleet tyre management, and retread solutions that reduce costs and support customers’ sustainability goals.
