At Diggers and Dealers 2024, the WA Mining Club made a strong presence with representatives including President Dani Tamati, Committee Members Jordan Pedley and Tim Taylor and many of our members. The Exhibition show is held in the vibrant mining town of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, this year has been abuzz with excitement, especially as gold prices reach new highs.
The event kicked off with a keynote from Kim Beazley, followed by insightful presentations from major players, new players and everyone in between such as Northern Star, Lynas Rare Earths, and Westgold Resources.
Rare earths were the talk of the town, and it was great to see a presentation on iron ore. The Exhibition was full and so were all the events either side.
The WA Mining Club supported an event that launched the fully electric CAT 777 truck equipped with our HPT truck body, a collaboration between Austin, EPCA – Electric Power Conversions Australia, UON PTY LTD and Xerotech.
