2025 Committee Nominations

Christine Croft
Human Resources Manager
Sitech (WA) Pty Ltd

As an active member of the WA Mining Club since 2005, Christine has over 20+ years experience working across a broad range of disciplines in her career within the mining industry, from early exploration through to mine development, production, operations and process optimisation. Specialising in Human Resources, Management and Business Development, Christine has held senior leadership roles utilising her knowledge and expertise, driving successful business outcomes through organisational development, employee engagement, training initiatives, talent acquisition and strategic resource planning.

Currently, Christine is the Human Resources Manager at Sitech (WA) Pty Ltd, a national organisation, leaders in premium Site Technology solutions, improving operational efficiencies and project workflows for the mining and resource industries. She holds an Advanced Diploma of Management (Human Resources) and is due for the completion of a Diploma of Information Technology (Cybersecurity) in May 2025.
Christine is dedicated to supporting the mining community and would like the opportunity to join the WAMC Committee to add value to further enhance member engagement, marketing, regulatory compliance, governance, scholarship programs and strategic planning initiatives.

Andre Fuller
General Manager
Hagstrom Drilling Pty Ltd

As the General Manager at Hagstrom Drilling, he brings over two decades of experience in the Australian mining industry. His journey into this field began unexpectedly, but it has become a career he deeply values. The mining and exploration sector has been incredibly good to him and his family, and he is committed to paying it forward by inspiring young Australians to pursue careers in this vital industry. He is also passionate about improving public awareness of the significant contributions this sector makes to society.

In addition to his leadership role, he has contributed to the development of nationally accredited training frameworks and currently serve as a Councillor on the AMEC Council, advocating for industry growth and excellence.

Rob Humphryson
Managing Director
RH Consulting

Rob has served on the WA Mining Club committee for the past two years and seeks to be re-elected for a further three year term. Current roles involve leading the Speaker Engagement subcommittee in addition to being actively involved in the Young Professionals rejuvenation and the Education Engagement portfolio. This involves a considerable time commitment each week, largely made possible through being semi-retired.

As the Speaker Engagement lead I have endeavoured to secure interesting, relevant and thought provoking speakers for our events and have introduced the ‘fireside chat’ concept to make for a more in-depth and engaging discussion. He really enjoys working alongside a dynamic and dedicated committee and hopes he is afforded the opportunity to do so for another three years.

Dani Tamati

With over 30 years of experience in the mining and resources sectors, Dani’s career has focused on Recruitment, HR, OHS, and Behavioral Predictive Analytics for talent. She excels at introducing candidates to companies that value their skills and works collaboratively to ensure excellent employment opportunities. Dani’s consultancies, THE resources HUB and Resourceful Women, emphasize diversity and inclusion by empowering women to re-enter the industry. Additionally, she has significant experience in creating strategies for local employment initiatives within the Pilbara Indigenous community.

Frozan Masjidi
University of Western Australia
Student

Frozan is a Mining Engineering student with a strong passion for the mining sector, fostered through her participation in various WA Mining Club events. These experiences have sparked her desire to join the WA Mining Club Committee, as Frozan believes in the importance of facilitating connections between students and industry professionals.

She wants to encourage her peers to engage with these opportunities, as they are vital for gaining insights and understanding their future careers. As someone with a refugee background, Frozan brings a unique perspective to the Committee. Her prior experience working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has equipped her with the skills to advocate for underrepresented communities.

Additionally, her role as a coach and teacher allowed her to support refugees in continuing their education and personal growth despite significant challenges. Frozan is a keen and active individual, always looking to grow and make meaningful contributions. This opportunity to serve on the WA Mining Club Committee excites her, as she is eager to help create a memorable and impactful environment that embodies kindness and support within the mining community.

Shelley Whittaker
Contracts & Procurement Manager
Delta Lithium Limited

Shelley is a commercial and contracts professional with over 15 years’ experience working directly with exploration and mining companies across multiple commodities in Western Australia. She is currently the Contracts & Procurement Manager at Delta Lithium, supporting the development of their lithium and gold projects. Shelley is passionate about the future of WA’s mining industry and is committed to supporting its growth through encouraging collaboration, innovation, and professional development.

By joining the WA Mining Club Committee, it is an opportunity for her to give back to the industry that has shaped her career. She will bring a practical, solutions-focused approach, strong governance skills, and a well-established network across the sector. She is keen to help grow the Club’s impact by supporting events, fostering connections, and promoting professional development across all levels of the industry.

Andrew Dittmann
General Manager

Andrew is a Mining Engineer with a 15-year career working across technical, operational and corporate management roles. He is the author of the “Mummy is a Miner” children’s book and currently holds the position of General Manager at MEC Mining where he is responsible for spearheading the growth and expansion of multiple business units across Western Australia.

He is the recipient of a number of industry awards: Future of Mining’s Emerging Leader (2019) Western Australia’s Business News 40under40 (2023) and AMEC Diversity and Inclusion (2024). As a true advocate for our industry, he would like to support the WAMC in developing and advocating positive change for its members and the wider industry stakeholders.

Andrew is passionate about the future of the mining industry and is actively engaged in supporting the growth and development of the next generation of miners.

Ben De Jonge

Ben De Jonge is an experienced communications, digital and growth professional, now with digital consultancy Dapth, after 15+ years as founding director of Perth creative, software and ecommerce agency, The Cut. Ben’s skillset offers the WA Mining Club committee and community significant benefits, based on an unusual combination of skills – Building digital systems and solutions that solve operational challenges and deliver new growth opportunities, combined with his own strategic approach to communications, partnerships and growth. Ben has spent over 20 years helping businesses connect the dots of technology, communication, and customer engagement, with a focus on sectors including mining, resources, construction, government, medical, education, commercial and retail.

2025 is Ben’s second year as board member of the Independent Commercial Communications Businesses Western Australia (IN:WA) where he has been instrumental in driving membership growth, and awareness of the organisation. Ben is also active on LinkedIn, with an engaged audience of 4,500+ Followers. He is passionate about helping traditional sectors adopt digital thinking and solutions, and has the skills and experience to bring fresh, forward-focused energy to the WA Mining Club committee, by combining experience, creativity, and strong communication to support the Club’s goals.

With over two decades of experience spanning SME, Resources, industrial, and corporate sectors, Rod brings a rare combination of strategic vision and practical execution. His self-described mission to lead an “efficiency revolution” reflects his comprehensive 360-degree approach to optimizing internal systems and connecting them seamlessly with the external world.

He has over 20 years in the mining industry, is a past TAFE Lecturer (Specialist) – Logistics Management, Leadership and Business Management, Frontline Management, Work Health and Safety, Project Management, BHP Supervisor Training, Human Resources Management, Training and Assessment, Right of Entry, Section 44, Investigating Incidents.

Rod feels he can bring great value to the committee, especially in the education engagement portfolio.

Natalie Taylor

Nat Taylor

Natalie is an experienced leader with over 20 years in the mining and legal sectors across Australia and New Zealand, including senior roles at major companies. As a former Vice-President, President, and Secretary of the WA Mining Club, she has proudly contributed to the Club’s growth and success.

Now consulting to global industry leaders, Nat brings skills in strategic engagement, stakeholder collaboration, and sustainable value creation. She is passionate about mining’s responsibility to create a better world and has championed initiatives supporting inclusion, diversity, education, and professional development across the sector. With the flexibility consulting provides, she is able to dedicate the time and energy needed to support the Club’s objectives.

Nat is seeking to rejoin the Committee to continue strengthening member engagement, drive strategic initiatives, and foster opportunities for the next generation of mining professionals. She is looking forward to the opportunity to once again contribute to the Club’s vibrant future alongside a dynamic and committed Committee.

Sherif Sulejman
Managing Director
Cameron Facilities

Sherif would like to join the WA Mining Committee because he has a genuine passion to serve and help the mining industry change the dynamics of FIFO living. He has been a FIFO worker and has also had permanent contracts in WA mining communities. Sherif understands how much we need to collaborate to work together and improve the FIFO community for all staff in all positions.

This is his passion and his company’s goal. They have created a great Mental Health and Wellbeing program which is going to improve the lives of many mine site workers.
