From time to time, the WA Mining Club supports unrelated external organisations and forums in addition to its own events. During October 2011, Perth will host the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). CHOGM 2011 will provide a unique opportunity for Commonwealth leaders to gather and discuss the challenges of our times. For the business community, the Commonwealth Business Forum will be held from 25 to 27 October 2011 and focus on the pertinent theme “Partnering for Global Growth: The Commonwealth, Indian Ocean and Pacific Rim”.
