A special general meeting was held on the 18th August 2010 to forward a motion to move from the existing constitution to a new constitution that was inline with the impending introduction of a new Associations Incorporation Act. 

Over the past 6 months the WA Mining Club has worked to meld the existing Constitution with the new model rules to arrive at a set of Rules which keeps the key objects and functionality of the Club while providing flexibility in operation.

The motion was forwarded and seconded then put to a vote and received overwhelming support, with agreement by all members present at the meeting.
